Classroom Calendar Bundle

I hope you are! Check out my blog post below and scroll down to find the resource!

I’ve got something really special to share with you today—this post is one of my absolute favourites! It’s all about a resource I use every single day with my own class and it’s something I designed with so much love and intention. The Pastel Classroom Calendar Kit is not only beautiful (hello, calming pastel colours!), but it’s also incredibly practical.  Setting up your calendar area can feel like a small part of the classroom, but trust me—it’s a “small but mighty” space where routines are built, conversations spark and meaningful learning happens naturally. Whether you’re a teacher or a homeschooling parent, I think you’re going to fall in love with this kit just like I have. 💛

What's Inside the Classroom Calendar Bundle?

This bundle is jam-packed with all the essentials to help you set up a bright and practical calendar area. Here’s what you get:

  1. Pocket Calendar Chart – Comes in two font options and includes both a PDF version and an editable file so you can tweak it to suit your space or needs.
  2. Monthly Calendar Chart – Also in two font options, and again editable or ready to print and go.
  3. Special Events Cards – Everything from birthdays to assemblies—plus blank editable cards so you can personalize your own events. These are made to fit both the pocket and monthly calendar options.
  4. Weather, Seasons, and Days of the Week Charts – Great for helping little learners understand daily changes. Also in editable and PDF formats.

⭐ Note: If you’re using the pocket calendar option, I’ve designed the cards to fit perfectly in most standard pocket wall charts. The one shown in my photos is from Scholastic and similar ones are easily found on Amazon! That said, you absolutely don’t need a wall chart—laminating the cards and using velcro works just as well. 🙌

How to Display It in Your Classroom

I designed it with flexibility in mind, so no matter what size space you’re working with, this bundle can work beautifully for you. As mentioned there are different size options.

You don’t need a big display area. If you’re using the pocket calendar, you can grab a wall chart online, but again—laminating and sticking the cards with Velcro or Blu-Tack works just as well but I have to admit, just rearranging the cards in the pocket calendar is super simple.

For the monthly calendar, it prints at A4 but can be enlarged to A3 on a school photocopier if you want something more prominent.

The days of the weekweather, and seasons charts are a lovely bonus.  I keep the days and weather cards that I change in a small wallet and the charts are displayed next to the calendar which perfect for how I use this resource daily.

Tips For Printing

  • Print the parts you want to use—either the pocket calendar or the monthly version. I use the pocket calendar in my classroom and simply printed everything onto card or cardstock. It’s held up brilliantly!

  • For the seasons, weather, and days of the week charts, I printed and laminated them. I gradually trained my class to change these themselves each day—it’s now part of our daily routine!

Using the Classroom Calendar Printable

  • At the end of each month, simply swap out the numbers and update with the new month’s cards.
  • Each day, spend a few minutes discussing what the charts show and what to display. I use our morning meeting time, or take a couple of minutes after registration for this.
  • We chat about what day it is, whether we’re in a new month, and I often sing a quick “days of the week” song. I really focus on helping the children understand what comes before and after each day—it took some time, but they’ve really got it now!
  • We look outside to check the weather and update the chart together. When the seasons change, we update that chart too—it’s a great visual reminder. They’re also fantastic for supporting vocabulary and building routine with your learners—especially if you’re working with younger children or students who thrive with visual cues.
